You have been waiting eagerly for the delegates from member countries to vote on certain
proposals your team has been working on. The decision they take, however, is not the one you
had been waiting so you show your disappointment when you say:

I had hoped they would endorse what we had proposed; unfortunately they didn’t.

I was expecting the committee to come along with new proposals, but they didn’t.

In my opinion some delegates will show that they are biased.

I thought they would presently regret the decision they had taken.

By this decision the delegates demonstrated that there was no agreement between the member
